Privacy Policy

The Short Version

  • Your assessment data is yours. We don't sell it.
  • Audio and video are processed for scoring then immediately deleted — we don't keep them.
  • Enterprise admins see aggregate team data, not individual scores (unless you share).
  • You can delete your account and all associated data anytime.

Who We Are

ProSocial is operated by CueShift. When we say "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean CueShift.

What We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, your email address and name are stored by our authentication provider. We do not store your password or payment details directly — these are managed by our authentication and payment processing partners.

Assessment Responses

When you take the People Skills Index or other assessments, we store your text responses and self-ratings. These are linked to your account by a pseudonymous identifier, not your email or name.

Audio and Video

Some assessment modules and features involve voice recordings or video. These files are processed for scoring and analysis, then deleted automatically. Raw audio and video are not retained after processing. What we keep are the AI-generated coaching insights — your scores, feedback, and skill analysis — which persist as part of your profile.

Facial expression detection runs locally in your browser. The raw face-tracking data is never sent to or stored on our servers.

Roleplay Conversations

If you use our voice roleplay feature, transcripts of the conversation are stored so you can review your performance and track improvement over time.

Anonymous Assessments

If you start an assessment before creating an account, we collect your email address (to deliver results) and a cryptographic hash of your IP address (for abuse prevention). The raw IP address is never stored.

Usage Data

We use product analytics to understand how people use our platform — page views, feature usage, and completion rates. This data is used to improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

To Score Your Assessment

Your responses are processed by AI to generate skill scores, blind spot reports, and personalized coaching recommendations. This is the core service.

To Improve Our Assessment

We use anonymized, aggregated data to validate and improve our scoring algorithms. Individual responses are never shared or made identifiable.

For Enterprise Features

If your organization uses ProSocial for Teams, your organization admin can see aggregate team statistics (like "Team average Diplomatic Assertiveness: 6.2"). They cannot see your individual scores unless you explicitly share your report.

Data Protection

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Audio and video files are deleted immediately after processing — they are not retained
  • IP addresses are cryptographically hashed before storage — we never store raw IPs
  • Account credentials and payment details are managed by specialized, industry-standard service providers — not stored by us directly

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Correct: Update your account information at any time
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We use product analytics to understand platform usage. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

Third-Party Services

We work with service providers in these categories to deliver and operate ProSocial:

  • Authentication and identity: Account management, login, and access control
  • Cloud hosting and databases: Secure data storage and application hosting
  • AI processing: Natural language and voice analysis for scoring (your data is not used to train third-party models)
  • Voice technology: Conversational AI for roleplay features
  • Payment processing: Subscription billing (we never store your payment details)
  • Email delivery: Transactional emails like assessment results and notifications
  • Product analytics: Understanding platform usage to improve the product

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data Retention

  • Audio and video files: Deleted immediately after processing
  • Anonymous assessment data: Expires after 7 days if you don't create an account
  • Account data and coaching insights: Retained for as long as your account is active
  • Deleted accounts: All associated data is removed upon account deletion

Children's Privacy

ProSocial is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We'll notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
